Univox guitars were built by the Matsumoku guitar factory in Japan. This factory notably manufactured guitars for Aria, Epiphone and Fender Japan at that time.
Since the 1960s, Univox had been a manufacturer of guitars and basses, but also effects, amps and keyboards.
