Beautiful gypsy guitar made by Arthur Torres Carbonell in Marseille during the 1950's.
Son of Arthur Real Carbonell, born in Valencia in 1879, the Carbonell family emigrated to Paris in 1913.
Established at Place de Clichy, they then moved to Marseille in 1919.
Arthur Torres Carbonell was born to him in 1905 and succeeded his father in 1946.
Specializing in the construction of gypsy or Spanish-type guitars, he is considered by René Vannes as one of the best workers in France of his time.
The latter is full of praise for him, mentioning that his instruments rival those of Italian and Spanish masters.
So, here for sale is a beautiful gypsy guitar by Carbonell fils made in the 1950s in their workshops in Marseille.
With very beautiful violin making, beautiful woods, a beautiful patina, pleasant playing comfort and a very interesting sound, this guitar is sure to delight musicians.
