Antoine Di Mauro
Antoine Di Mauro Saint Louis Blues Deluxe 1960's (Gypsy Guitar)
Many famous artists of the time played on a Di Mauro guitar: Jacques Brel, Georges Brassens, Henri Salvador, Sacha Distel, Jacques Higelin, Pat Metheny and of course Django Reinhardt.
Here, this model is a Saint Louis Blues, certainly dating from the early 1960s. With these 14 frets outside the body, it is the perfect guitar for soloists.
It should be noted that beyond the superb state of conservation, we will notice the very pretty wood used in its construction.
In addition to all this, it presents a very practical and yet rare feature, especially on guitars of this style of the time: an adjustable bridge.
