Many famous artists of the time played on a Di Mauro guitar: Jacques Brel, Georges Brassens, Henri Salvador, Sacha Distel, Jacques Higelin, Pat Metheny and of course Django Reinhardt.
Here, this model is a Saint Louis Blues, certainly dating from the early 1950s. With these 14 frets outside the body, it is the perfect guitar for soloists.
This model has a very beautiful patina on a pretty top spruce top and a superb curly maple veneer back.
