Stridente is one of the most prolific and renowned factors of the early 20th century.
Characterized by Neapolitan violin making, it takes up the codes and style of Vinaccia in particular.
Widely known for his mandolins, he produced a lot for export, particularly to France, which seems to be the case for this mandolin bearing an iron mark on the upper left corner of the table.
